Ms. Rosemary Mkok

Rosemary Mkok, MBS is a lawyer by profession and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi and an MBA Degree from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI). She was employed with the Kenya Sugar Board in 1995 as the Company Secretary; she served in that capacity for 13 years before she was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2008.

She is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K) and holds a Post graduate Diploma in Legal studies from the Kenya School of Law. Rosemary is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Law Society of Kenya, Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and Commonwealth Lawyers Association.

Through her experience in the industry, she has been able to steer the sugar sector to increased productivity through increased efficiency and capacity expansion.
